End all violence in schools so children are safe to learn.

That’s the vision my client - a partnership of 14 global organizations dedicated to ending school-related violence - set out to achieve. In collaboration with technical leaders from each of these 14 organizations, I co-created a strategic roadmap to turn that vision into reality.

Over the course of the engagement, I used collaborative tools like 1:1 interviews, an in-depth participatory workshop, group conversations and working groups to generate specific ideas on how the partnership could bring their ambition to life.  By the end of the process, we had co-created a strategic roadmap document and visual 1-pager that articulates a shared purpose for the overall initiative, captures the 14 partner organizations’ specific contributions to deliver the vision, and details areas of collective action. The roadmap sets out in concrete terms the value of the partnership: it details what each organization will do more of, do better, or do differently so children are free to learn, thrive and pursue their dreams.
